Bio
Dr. Mohan Philip is a board-certified pulmonologist and sleep medicine physician who has proudly served Greenville and the greater Hunt County community since 2003. With more than two decades of local practice experience, he is deeply rooted in the region and committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to his patients.
Dr. Philip is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
He completed medical school at Trivandrum Medical College in India, followed by his Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary fellowship at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed a Critical Care fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and a Sleep Medicine fellowship at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York.
Since establishing his practice in Greenville in 2003, Dr. Philip has provided office-based pulmonary and sleep medicine care as well as inpatient pulmonary and critical care services at Hunt Regional Me. He has served in multiple leadership roles, including ICU Medical Director, Cardiopulmonary Medical Director, and Credentialing Committee Chairman.
Dr. Philip specializes in the diagnosis and management of complex lung diseases, sleep disorders, and critical care conditions. His approach combines evidence-based medicine with personalized attention, ensuring each patient receives comprehensive and coordinated care close to home.
He remains dedicated to advancing pulmonary and sleep medicine in Hunt County and values the long-standing relationships he has built with patients and families throughout the community.
