Mobile Mammography Coach

The Tubby Adkisson Mobile Mammography Coach is fully equipped wit h 3D digital mammography equipment to conduct mammograms at remote locations throughout Hunt County without a referral by a doctor. Named for local volunteer and beloved community figure, Nita “Tubby” Adkisson, the coach makes scheduled visits at businesses, churches and other locations throughout Hunt County. The goal of the coach is to help screen busy women on-the-go, and provide early detection of breast cancer.

All insurances accepted at Hunt Regional are also accepted for the Mobile Mammography Coach, including Medicare and Medicaid. For those not using insurance, reduced prepay pricing from MDSave is available. To apply for a grant to possibly cover this charge, please contact The Bridge Breast Network at 214.821.3820.

Our Accreditation

The breast imaging center in Hunt Regional Medical Center at Greenville as well as the Tubby Adkisson Mobile Mammography Coach is accredited by the American College of Radiology, the Food and Drug Administration of the U. S. Government, the State of Texas Department of Health and the American Registry of Radiological Technologists’ Advanced Mammography Certification Program.
