Emory, Texas – On May 2, 2024, Hunt Regional was pleased to open its doors to the newly constructed duo clinic of Hunt Regional Family Medicine Emory and Hunt Regional Urgent Care in Emory, Texas.
Hunt Regional Healthcare’s mission is “continually improving the health of the people in the communities we serve by providing quality, cost-effective, and service-oriented care.” The organization has been so pleased to provide medical care at the Hunt Regional Family Medicine office in Emory for over eight years, with Michelle van Fossen, PA-C, at the helm. When the opportunity to expand the scope of care by adding an urgent care clinic presented itself, Hunt Regional leaped at the chance.
“The City of Emory Development Corporation Board, Rains County Commissioners Court, and One Rock have been incredible to work with during the planning, development, and construction phases of the Hunt Regional Healthcare Medical Complex. Their passion to provide needed healthcare to the community is evident,” stated Chad Martin, VP of Clinical Operations for Hunt Regional Healthcare.
Open seven days a week, Hunt Regional Urgent Care offers convenient walk-in access to care for any minor emergency, illness, or injury, such as minor sprain or strain, cold and flu-like symptoms, cough and sore throat, earache, upper respiratory infection, simple laceration, etc. X-rays and lab tests will be available as well. Hunt Regional Family Medicine offers appointments for wellness, acute, or chronic medical conditions, including physicals and immunizations. Hunt Regional Healthcare would be honored to establish relationships with individuals or families for every stage of their lives.
