Dr. Alexandra Green, DO – General and Trauma Surgeon

Dr. Alexandra Green is a board-eligible general and trauma surgeon at Hunt Regional Healthcare in Greenville, Texas. She treats patients across Hunt County and Northeast Texas, performing both scheduled (elective) and emergency surgery. Her care is evidence-based, precise, and built around each patient's needs.

Education and Training

Dr. Green earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in San Antonio. She completed her general surgery internship and residency at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, which is a Level I Trauma Center. During her training there, she gained extensive experience in trauma, acute care surgery, and advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques.

While in residency, she worked on quality improvement and patient safety committees that focused on surgical outcomes. She also helped teach other residents and contributed to research, presentations, and publications on surgical care and process improvement.
