About Therapy
Our therapists help patients understand how the pelvic muscles operate. They also perform an optional internal exam to help identify problematic areas and monitor progress.
Therapists may use biofeedback which allows patients to learn correct techniques via digital imaging on a monitor.
Electric stimulation is an option during pelvic floor therapy. Gentle electric pulse technology can help strengthen the pelvic floor.
To supplement onsite outpatient therapy, additional exercises are prescribed to be performed at home to help patients achieve their goals faster.
