Overview

Dr. Rafay Usman, born and raised in Frisco, Texas, discovered his calling in medicine early and has made it his second home. He completed his medical education at Dow International Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, where he actively engaged in cardiology research, community outreach initiatives, and organizing student events that fostered connection and collaboration. Dr. Usman is passionate about internal medicine and firmly believes that exceptional patient care begins with truly listening to those he serves.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Usman enjoys both playing and watching sports, and can often be found exploring local coffee shops in search of the perfect brew. He’s thrilled to begin this next chapter of his career alongside fellow residents who share his dedication and passion for medicine. Fair warning: there’s a good chance he’ll enthusiastically try to get you interested in watching some basketball or football along the way.
