Departure Letter
We would like to inform you that Dr. Jaison John with Hunt Regional Specialists, Gastroenterology has made the difficult decision to pursue an opportunity closer to home in order to spend more time with his family.
His final day seeing patients and performing procedures with Hunt Regional will be January 31, 2026.
Until that date, Dr. John will continue to provide the same excellent care he always has to his patients and to those referred to him for evaluation or procedures. Following his departure, Dr. Khatib will continue to provide comprehensive Gastroenterology services and will assume the care of Dr. John’s patients.
If Dr. John has recommended or scheduled a future procedure, such as a repeat colonoscopy after February 1, 2026, please know that these patients do not need to be re-seen in the office. Dr. Khatib has graciously offered to add them directly to his endoscopy schedule to ensure a smooth transition for the patient.
We appreciate the trust and collaboration you extend to our team and wanted to ensure you were aware of this transition in advance. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our office with any questions regarding ongoing patient care, referrals, or scheduling.
