Overview
Dr. Brigit-Kelly Besong is a passionate and compassionate physician who brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and public health insight to her practice. A graduate of the University of Buea Medical School and the University of Southern Mississippi, Dr. Besong has developed a comprehensive approach to patient care informed by her background in both global medicine and public health. She is deeply committed to lifelong learning, meaningful collaboration with healthcare teams, and serving underserved communities with empathy and excellence.
Dr. Besong’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to wellness extend beyond the clinic. While in college, she started a workout group as a way to de-stress, and it quickly gained momentum, growing so popular that she turned it into a part-time job to help fund her education. This experience reflects her natural ability to build community, inspire others, and turn challenges into opportunities—qualities that continue to shape her approach to medicine and patient care.
