Whether you are a new or expecting mom, we want to provide you with the resources you need. The Truett & Margaret Crim Maternity Center offers multiple options to help moms breastfeed successfully.
Our breastfeeding education class helps you learn how to breastfeed and teaches you tips for maintaining lactation. Our breastfeeding support group offers a chance for moms to encourage one another as they breastfeed.
Find support and encouragement as you breastfeed at our support group. At the group, you'll find moms helping other moms through the different stages of breastfeeding.
A lactation nurse will be present at every meeting for additional support.
The breastfeeding support group meets on the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m.

You and your baby will be off to the best of beginnings together when you sign up for our class, “Breastfeeding: Getting Off on a Good Start.”
The breastfeeding class is held on the fourth Monday of every month at 6 pm in conference room 1 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Additional class times available upon request.
You’ll not only learn how to breastfeed, but also get tips on preparing for breastfeeding as well as maintaining lactation. We’ll also touch on the many benefits of breastfeeding, plus what you can expect at Hunt Regional Medical Center.
We’ll talk about support beyond your hospital stay to help you during the weeks and months ahead. Fathers and other family members are encouraged to attend.
It’s easy to register for the breastfeeding education class. Complete the form below and then rest easy knowing you’re getting your little one off to the very best of beginnings.
