About

About

I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Multan, Pakistan. Growing up in a place where many people struggled to access proper healthcare sparked my passion for medicine. I wanted to be someone who could make a real difference in their lives. My journey in medicine began at Nishtar Medical University. As a medical student, I also had the opportunity to do away rotations at ICAHN School of Medicine, which broadened my perspective and deepened my commitment to the field. After completing my degree, I moved to Virginia, where my interest in cardiology grew as I worked with a research group at West Virginia University. Currently,

I have a deep interest in both hospital medicine and cardiology. I’ll rely on residency to pave my future path. Getting accepted into residency at Hunt Regional Medical Center in the heart of Texas brings me one step closer to my goal of significantly impacting healthcare. Texas has always been the place I wanted to settle permanently due to its diverse community and family culture. The welcoming and friendly environment at Hunt Regional Medical Center confirmed that this program is the perfect fit for me. I am eager to become a well-rounded physician by learning from the incredible mentors in this program. Outside of medicine, I love traveling and learning about different cultures, hosting and spending time with my friends and family, experimenting with new recipes, and trying new restaurants.
