Patient & Visitor Information

Page Content

We understand that when you or a loved one is sick, it can be pretty unsettling. In this section, you will find everything you need to know about visiting our hospital, whether you are checking in as a patient or dropping by to see someone who is ill. We hope to make your visit to Hunt Regional as easy as possible.

If you are unsure of where to begin, we recommend starting with our FAQ section. There you will find answers to commonly asked questions like “When can I visit a hospital patient,” and “How do I get ready for my mammogram?"

If you are entering as a patient, our patient information section will address most of your concerns, including:
  • What to bring and what to leave at home.
  • Your care by our medical team.
  • Services such as spiritual care and bilingual translations.
  • Privacy policies and your rights as a patient.
  • And more.

We recommend that you look over this before your visit so that your time spent in our hospital can be focused on getting well.

If you are visiting a family member or friend, please refer to our visitor section to find information on visiting hours, food service, how to email your loved one and our gift shop.

Your medical records are available if you need them to visit a doctor or simply want them on hand for a future need. You can learn about our policies and what you will need to provide to us under the medical records tab. Take the time to fill out the request form we provide in advance to speed up the process. For your convenience, a records request with the proper documentation can also be handled by mail.

To further prepare for an upcoming appointment or hospital visit, view our Locations page to find the address and additional contact information for Hunt Regional Medical Center or one of our additional facilities.
