Conditions that Require Rehabilitation Treatment

Page Content

Rehabilitation patientThe circumstances that bring patients to our inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation centers are life-changing, and we strive to help them recover as soon as possible. At Hunt Regional Healthcare, we are dedicated to helping patients overcome challenges and get back to their daily routines.

Our unique rehabilitation treatment approach is what makes our program so effective. We understand that every patient is unique and has different goals and needs, which is why our dedicated team individualizes each patient’s care. Our patients will work hard, but it will be well worth the effort.

Our rehabilitation services greatly benefit patients who are experiencing one of the following difficulties:

  • Limitations in self-care
  • Impaired mobility, balance, and coordination

  • Swallowing disorders

These difficulties may be a result of one of the following conditions:

  • Hip fractures
  • Some forms of arthritis
  • Amputations
  • Neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease and muscular dystrophy
  • Major multiple trauma

Referrals to our rehabilitation program can be made by physicians, family members, patients themselves, discharge planners and allied health professionals. If you believe you or someone you know would benefit from our services, please contact us at 903-408-1737 or 903-408-1740, and a member of our staff will perform a screening at no charge. If it’s determined that the patient is not fit for our inpatient rehabilitation services, alternate options and resources will be discussed.
