Royse City, Texas – Hunt Regional Healthcare is bringing OB/GYN services to the Royse City area. Located in the new Hunt Regional Medical Center Royse City at 6734 West Interstate 30, this clinic is convenient for area residents and is accepting new patients. A full line of gynecological and obstetrician services are offered for women off all ages, including well woman exams, PAP smears, prenatal care, STD testing and treatment, birth control, surgical procedures, and more.
Drs. Jennifer Motley and Ashton Hierholzer will begin seeing patients in the new Hunt Regional Specialists Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic on September 2.
Jennifer Lee Motley, MD, MPH, is an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist with over 20 years of clinical practice, specializing in adolescent gynecology and postmenopausal care. She earned her medical degree and Master of Public Health from Boston University and completed her residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she was recognized for excellence in teaching and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Motley spent 15 years in private practice in Fort Worth and has served as a hospitalist at Hunt Regional Medical Center for the past five years. She brings a strong foundation in women’s health, public health research, and community service to her role and delivers thoughtful, evidence-based care for every stage of a woman’s life.
Ashton Hierholzer, MD is joining Hunt Regional following her residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Amarillo, Texas. Dr. Hierholzer attended medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she was a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and received her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was recognized as a “Senior of Significance.” Dr. Hierholzer is looking forward to becoming involved with her new community and establishing her medical practice.
Currently, 1000 gynecological procedures are performed and over 1200 babies a year are delivered at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville (just twenty miles from Royse City), which has a recently-expanded surgery center and outstanding labor and delivery department, as well as a highly-rated Level III neonatal ICU.
