Outpatient Behavioral Health

Our outpatient behavioral health program is tailored to meet the unique needs of older adults and their caregivers. The program aims to address physical decline, loss of independence, safety concerns, and mental health issues such as depression that often come with aging. The program is staffed by a team of fully licensed professionals, including social workers, counselors, therapists, and medical technicians. This collaborative approach ensures patients receive the best possible care from diagnosis to implementation, with adjustments made as needed.

Our Goal

We are here to give you and your loved ones quality care that emphasizes the importance of dignity, respect and confidentiality while helping the individual achieve an optimal level of functioning.

We work to

  • Restore optimum mental, physical, and emotional health.
  • Alleviate symptoms that may interfere with the ability to function.
  • Support the integrity of the family
  • Maximize independence.

Who can Benefit?

  • The person displaying symptoms and/or behaviors that interfere with social, vocational or educational functioning.
  • The person shows little to no progression or significant benefits with less intensive outpatient treatment.
  • The person experiencing a decline in mental health that may require inpatient care unless outpatient treatment is provided.

Refer a Patient

Our Outpatient Behavioral Health program accepts referrals from physicians, healthcare professionals, human service agencies, clergy, and concerned family members or friends. Call 903.886.2238 to schedule a clinical evaluation.

We recognize that mental health problems also impact families and encourage their involvement throughout the treatment process. The emotional distress can be overwhelming, which is why we encourage families to be involved in the treatment process from beginning to end.

Understanding Outpatient Behavioral Health

Treatment modalities are designed to meet the unique needs of adults by educating patient, families and caregivers regarding mental health issues affecting daily living.

Treatment is supervised by a licensed physician and provided by a team that includes master’s-level clinicians and mental health providers. Caregivers, families and primary care physicians are encouraged to participate in the process by assisting with the identification of problems and solutions.

Caregivers, families, and primary care physicians are encouraged to participate in the treatment process.
