Hunt Regional welcomed two new board members at their May 22 meeting. Sarah Alderman and Scott Pierce, D.O., join the board as representatives of Precincts 4 and 2, respectively.

The Hunt Memorial Hospital District Board of Directors is a nine-member panel elected by Hunt County residents. The volunteer board meets monthly to set policy and establish goals for Hunt Regional Healthcare facilities in the county.

"We welcome the addition of two new active community representatives. We are excited to add their unique, professional backgrounds to our board of directors,” said Rich Carter, Hunt Regional Healthcare CEO.

About Scott Pierce, Precinct 2

Scott M. Pierce, D.O., is double-boarded in emergency medicine and family practice, with over 20 years of experience caring for patients and families. Dr. Pierce is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in College Station where he was a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie class of 1990.
