Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation Awarded Union Pacific Grant


The Union Pacific Foundation Board granted $5000 to the Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation on behalf of the Lone Oak Volunteer Fire Department.

Union Pacific has a long-standing commitment to improve the quality of life in the communities they serve and where their employees live and work. Funding is prioritized for direct services and efforts that build the capacity of organizations focused on safety within Union Pacific’s local operating communities.

This safety grant was established to prepare and equip residents and emergency responders to effectively respond to incidents and emergencies.

The Lone Oak VFD expressed their appreciation of the gift and plans to purchase specialized protective equipment for volunteer fire responders.
