Hunt Regional extern group celebrates graduation

Hunt Regional Healthcare recently celebrated the graduation of our latest group of externs. The nurse externship program was developed for the purpose of allowing nursing students to work in a hospital setting and gain experience while completing their degrees.

While enrolled, Hunt Regional assists in paying tuition, books, fees, and licensure exam fees. The program encourages post-graduation employment if positions are available. The program allows students to strengthen self-confidence, interact with physicians and other care providers, and learn various disease processes.

Congratulations to our graduates.
