Hunt Regional Emergency Medical Center at Quinlan celebrates one year anniversary

A celebration was held April 19 in honor of Hunt Regional Emergency Medical Center at Quinlan being open for one year. Since opening its doors in March 2016, the full-service freestanding emergency department has treated more than 15,400 patients.

At the celebration, Hunt Regional administration praised the medical staff for their life-saving work and unique expertise in remote emergency care. Hunt County citizens were also acknowledged for recognizing the need to expand emergency care throughout all regions of the county and voting to build the freestanding centers in Quinlan and Commerce through the passage of a bond in 2013.

During the program, Hunt Regional CEO Rich Carter presented Kim Saenz with a bouquet of fresh flowers in appreciation for her around-the-clock dedication as director of both HREMC-Quinlan and HREMC-Commerce.
