A sweet "treet" for foundation patrons

7/28/2014

The Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation recently hosted a cupcake reception to show their appreciation to employees who have contributed to foundation projects.

In the last year alone, employees have pledged over $35,000 toward better healthcare including the purchase and maintenance of the mobile mammography unit, which has made breast cancer screening and early detection a reality for many Hunt County women who may have otherwise neglected their annual exams.

Employees that have donated were treated to cupcakes decorated in the style of the Hunt Regional Healthcare tree emblem by Ambie Cakes in Commerce, serving as a small token of gratitude and a reminder that thanks to Hunt Regional employees, quality healthcare is "rooted" in Northeast Texas.
